Wishbone dining chair Walnut

The Wishbone dining chair is the most iconic design by Hans J. Wegner. Already in 1950 he laid the foundation for the well-known Danish minimalism through this design and this chair has been continuously in production since then. Studiomoda now has its own handmade design version of the Wishbone, consisting of pure craftsmanship and quality.

The back and armrest are made of 1 piece of walnut wood. The seat is made of paper cord in a natural colour and the frame of this model is made of oiled walnut wood. Walnut wood is darker in color and comes with rich veins. The oil provides a protective layer. In daily use, this chair is easy to clean with a soft cloth that is wrung out with clean, lukewarm water or a colorless soap solution if some dirt  has come on. The paper cord itself is easy to clean by dabbing it. The chair is comfortable due to the unique Y-shaped design of the backrest and is very stable.
